Portobello Inn is located in the geographic center of New York State and close to many area attractions. We are a short distance to NY State Thruway exits 29A (Little Falls) and 30 (Herkimer).

To the North visit the Adirondack Mountains and the Lake Placid/Olympic venue. In season, enjoy day trips to and from Uticas Union Station to the heart of the Adirondack Mountains on the Adirondack Scenic Railway. Visit Old Forge, the Adirondack Museum at Blue Mountain Lake and enjoy the Enchanted Forest and Water Safari.

South 30 minutes of the Inn is the Village of Cooperstown and the famous Baseball Hall of Fame. Visit Doubleday Field, the NY State Historical Museum, the Farmers Museum and the Glimmerglass Opera.
