Inn Description: Built in 1889 in the foothills of the Northern Catskills, this lovely Inn has welcomed guests for 50 years. Three buildings are set on 6 acres of lawns, shade trees and gardens. Antiques, original artwork and Victorian details add to an atmosphere of warmth and relaxed comfort. All rooms have private baths & mini-fridges, some have double whirlpools and fireplaces. After a delicious hot breakfast, guests enjoy Hudson Valley sight-seeing or relaxing in a hammock by the 50 foot outdoor pool. Recreational activities and area attractions include: Historic Hudson Valley touring, Catskill Mountain skiing, hiking, biking, golf and antique hunting. Ideal driving itinerary from NYC: spend the day sightseeing your way up the Hudson Valley, arriving at Greenville Arms 1889 Inn in time for tea at 4:00 p.m. Also host to Hudson River Valley Art Workshops - 3 and 5 day workshops for painters and art quilters (www.artworkshops.com).
