About the Area: The foothills of the Adirondack Mountains offer beautiful wooded scenery, creased by the Hudson and Schroon rivers and many streams, and perforated by numerous ponds and lakes. Lake George has been described as the most beautiful lakes in the world since European explorers first discovered it. Warrensburg was first settled in the post-Colonial era; its history includes logging, tanning and self-sufficient farming. Victorian-era homes built by water-powered industry grace its tree-lined streets.

Bird Room contains 2 twins or a king, suitable for 1 or 2 people. (Private bath directly across hall.)

From the South: NYS Thruway to Exit 24 at Albany. After toll bear right onto I-87 north towards Saratoga Springs.
Warrensburg Exit 23 is approximately 65 miles north of Albany. Follow signs into Warrensburg, on Route 9. At second traffic light turn left onto Route 418 (Richards Ave.)
Across the Schroon River Route 418 turns right. Follow along river for 3 miles, to Hickory Hill Rd., on left, just past the entrance to Sinai Retreat. (If you cross the Hudson River, you just missed the turn.)
Country Road Lodge is 1/2 mile straight down Hickory Hill Road.
From the North: I-87 to Exit 23, then follow directions above, OR Route 28 to Route 9 at north end of Warrensburg, then right at second traffic light onto Route 418 (see above).
