About the Area: Built in 1876 as a wedding gift for a girl named Alice, our fully restored Victorian retains its purpose by offering VERY PRIVATE accommodations for couples looking for that special place. Listed on both the state and national Historic Registers, we have endeavored to create a comfortable retreat from the noise and stress of everyday lives. Located in a very small village, we are close to all of the major attractions in the eastern Finger Lakes Region. Short driving times to all of the major colleges and universities; Cornell, Colgate, Syracuse, Ithaca ,SUNY Cortland & Binghamton and two of the Finger Lakes- Skaneateles or Cayuga. We offer large rooms with private baths. A two-room suite is also available. Full gourmet breakfasts are served at tables for two on our enclosed sunporch. A beautiful lake with beach,rental boats,swimming, hiking and picnicing is just 15 minutes away. You can fish for trout just a few minutes away or try Whitney Point Lake just 15 minutes away for bass, pike and panfish. Short driving distances to Greene, Norwich, and Hamilton (Colgate University). Great antiqueing in Marathon, Greene, and Bouckville.

Cable TV/VCR and free Wireless Internet throughout the B&B. Spacious East and South Rooms have: "Elecroflame" firestove and fireplace respectively, cable TV/VCR, and Air conditoning in summer. Twin room of the Suite has cable TV/VCR and room fan in summer. Cozy North Room offers cable TV and ceiling fan. Complimentary beverages all day; lily ponds, fresh air, and beautiful gardens to roam or sit and relax. Private entrance to B&B for guests who get their own key. Great fishing in Otselic River (best trout fishing in the county!) just down the street and Whitney Point Lake just 15 minutes away with swimming, rental boats, hiking and more.

Dining Information: There is a pizza and more place within walking distance, and more dining options within a 15-20 minute drive.

Rate Information: East Room $100+tax, South Room $110+tax, North Room $85+tax - Less expensive options sometimes available for this room based on dates/lenght of stay and "no breakfast option" Call for details, South Suite $150+tax. Rates are subject to change and may be higher during certain Peak Season dates. Minimum night stays also may be in effect during high seasons and special events. Non-peak season discounts available.
