Our charming hamlet was a mill town for over 200 years. John Caldwell, who was in the linen business in Ireland, bought 50 acres here in 1802. Mr. Caldwell built the house which is now the B&B upon arrival and it was completed in 1803. The family had three houses which are still occupied, two of which we own. The other house we own dates back to 1716!
