This is pristine country! We are located in the southern tier of the Leatherstocking region just 3 hours drive from the George Washington Bridge. There are many small lakes, creeks and rivers throughout the area with open meadows and spectacular forest lands. The predominatly dairy farms are gradually giving way to excellent organic beef, goat, sheep and alpaca farms as well as vegetable and fruit farms. Many find that this is a great area for vacation and retirement homes away from the hustle and bustle of urban and suburban living.
